Vaccination Centre at PITAS Pos Clinic Sabah
Earlier this year, we had teamed up with Tokio Marine Insurance and pledged a donation towards the construction of a Pos Clinic in Kg. Dowokan, Sabah, after a village representative reached out to us with their plight to have accessible healthcare services as the nearest healthcare facility centre is an hour away by car and about 2.5 hours away by foot.
Fast forward to today, we are delighted to share that our good intention had evolved to a greater purpose during this unforgiving Covid-19 pandemic. The clinic now serves as a vaccination center for Kg. Dowokan and other nearby villages.
With the POS Clinic in place, we hope that it can bridge the gap between healthcare and accessibility within the rural community while contributing to the national goal of ensuring that the entire nation gets vaccinated and protected from Covid-19.
