Receiving Joy in Giving

During the month of December last year, the company received feedback from some schools in Sabah stating that food has become a matter of concern to the underprivileged families. An in-depth research has shown that the main breadwinners of these families are of the informal or tourism-related sectors – sectors that are heavily affected by the ongoing pandemic.

Thus, coordinating with the Parent Teacher Association (PIBG) of Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Penampang, a primary school located in Kota Kinabalu, and with the help of Audrey and her amazing team, we have successfully donated some food baskets to a total of 100 families. Each food basket contains some basic food items such as rice and sugar.

The joy that we feel at being able to give and share what we take for granted is, as always, indescribable. Moving forward, we hope that these families know that they are not alone in surviving this pandemic and that we are always ready to help whenever and wherever possible.
