Peace Of Mind Security For The School
SMK Bahang is a 2-session school, with 2,038 students from upper secondary and lower secondary, but not equipped with CCTV facility, hence hard to monitor large surrounding areas in the school.
Our CSR committee was approached to assist in supporting the school with CCTV installation. The purpose of CCTV installation is to monitor various “hot spots”, used by students for picking fights, vandalism at boys’ toilets, students who smoke in school, etc. The CCTV installation is also a way to prevent burglaries by outsiders which has happened previously.
As part of our CSR initiatives, we have supported part of the installation cost by a donation to AJK PIBG SMK Bahang and the installation was done during the recent school holidays in December, to avoid disruptions. We are delighted to share that, “SMK Bahang has created a safer environment for teachers and students”.
